Ceramic fillings are a much more durable alternative to conventional fillings. They have the durability of metal fillings but the beauty of ceramic and are colour-matched to your teeth. Because of their strength and durability, as long as they are properly cared for, ceramic fillings will not have to be replaced for a very long time.

The CEREC machine can create a ceramic filling or crown in a single visit. This visit includes removing decay, and any broken or leaking fillings from your tooth, then construction and cementation of the ceramic filling or crown.

CEREC restorations are constructed using CAD-CAM technology involving 3-D photographs and sophisticated computer design. A robotic milling unit shapes the designed restoration out of a porcelain block ready for cementation.
