Check-up and clean
Getting children used to regular visits to the dentist for checkups and cleans while they are young, allows us to detect and treat problems early and more simply, and sets them up for healthy teeth and happy smiles for life.
Orthodontics
Getting started early (8-9 yrs of age).
Traditional and more usual orthodontic treatment begins when the permanent teeth have erupted. It may involve full braces, plates, or headgear.
Sometimes early orthodontic treatment can start even before the baby teeth are lost. Usually targeting specific problems, early treatment can reduce the overall time, and/or cost of full braces, or even allow your child to avoid braces altogether. While not needed in every case, when appropriate, early treatment can use children’s growth to improve severe bite problems making future treatment more straightforward, and sometimes even avoid the need for surgery.
Before any orthodontic treatment, an assessment involving record taking and xray evaluation will be needed.
Teen Invisalign
Being a teenager is not easy. It can be more challenging having to deal with the problem of crooked or misaligned teeth. Many kids avoid orthodontic treatment for fear of wearing metal braces. Whether concerned about attracting unwanted attention or creating a negative impression, teenagers prefer to keep a low profile when it comes to their dental problems. Invisalign Teen offers a way for the young orthodontic patient to eliminate such fears and potentially awkward moments.
Using a set of custom clear plastic aligners, the Invisalign Teen treatment program can straighten your child’s teeth without drawing unnecessary attention to them. The aligners are less noticeable than traditional wires and brackets, allowing the child to undergo treatment without anyone noticing the dental device on their teeth.
Invisalign Teen is the modern alternative to metal braces. It gives your growing young adult the confidence to flash their smiles and enjoy all the things that they love without any lifestyle compromises.
